Sports for Special Kids has continued our mission of helping special needs children in 2018 by allocating two $10,000 grants to Eastern Carolinas MDA and Triangle Special Hockey Association (TSHA). Mission
To provide resources to existing organizations to help further their ability to provide sports and physical activities for kids with physical and developmental disabilities.
Impact
Sports for Special Kids donates money to organizations that support a variety of sports like hockey, basketball, and horseback riding. We have also funded special projects tailored to individuals with specific needs.
Support
Individual donations and corporate sponsorship are encouraged! Sports for Special Kids is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that has no political agenda or parent organization connections giving us the freedom to impact as many deserving children as possible.
Events
Sports for Special Kids hosts an annual golf tournament every year. In addition to being a lot of fun, the event is a primary source of donations. We intend to continue this great tradition and are looking to expand with other new events that would help support and connect to the special needs community.
